Job Description
APS Staffing is looking for entry & experienced CNC Machine Operators, Set ups, and/or Programmers here in Erie, PA.
Our clients are looking for CNC operators with at least 6 months work experience, or schooling, in CNC machining.
Duties Include:
- Operating CNC lathes, mills, manual, and boring machines
- Load & unload materials and change offsets
- Load feed mechanisms
- Verify settings per quality standards
- Maintain equipment per safety standards
- Document in-process paperwork
- Enter information into the company computerized system
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to read blue prints, interpret geometric dimensions & tolerances, follow specifications per customer orders
- Use measuring tools such as gages, calipers, etc.
- High School diploma or equivalent
1st shift: 6:30am -3pm, Monday - Friday
Starting wage will be based on experience and skill level demonstrated during interview with the client.
